Born and raised in Downey, California, Julie Garcia is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of What's Up Crew, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and families through mentorship, education, leadership development, and meaningful community partnerships.

With nearly three decades of community service, Julie brings both professional experience and a deeply personal understanding of the challenges young people face. Her journey has shaped her belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to rewrite their story, discover their purpose, and build a brighter future.

Through What's Up Crew, Julie is committed to reminding students that their past does not define their future and that with encouragement, guidance, and opportunity, transformation is possible.
